I captured Amanda and Mlamli’s engagement photos on a cool misty day, after days of rain, and what an adventure it was. Amanda was so cute, trekking across wet fields and muddy pathways in her slippers, with Mlamli carrying her pretty high heels so they wouldn’t get muddy. Eventually Amanda just kicked them off and walked barefoot through the puddles. Mlamli loves to tease Amanda and pull funny faces, because he has such a playful nature. I had to remind him a few times not to frown (LOL). Amanda was completely amused and he kept us hugely entertained. I love the inner child in Mlamli. Amanda just humours him and adores him. Every now and then she would give him “the look” and we would all laugh. We did a lot of walking and exploring and I was in my usual adventurous mood and came across some awesome locations and old sheds that made the most amazing backdrops. Mlamli was all too happy to plant kisses on Amanda’s lips and cheeks whenever I shouted “Okay, kiss!”. I’ll be photographing their wedding later this week at the upmarket Hemingways Hotel and Casino. Their wedding is going to be sophisticated and elegant, just like Amanda. I cannot wait!
